Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to restrict the change in the directivity of the transceiver having trumpet horn, by changing the oscillated frequency of ultrasonic waves according to ambient temperature. CONSTITUTION:According to the ambient temperature, the directivity of the transceiver 3 having the cone of trumpet is changed. Negative characteristics thermister is used at a part of the resistor for time constant setting the oscillation frequency in the oscillator 4 provided for the transmitting circuit A, and the oscillation frequency is automatically changed according to the variation in the ambient temperature. That is, to prevent the change in the directivity of transceiver 3 due to ambient temperature, the oscillation frequency of ultrasonic waves is changed, allowing to keep the directivity of the transceiver 3 at almost constant. Thus, the change in the directivity can be suppressed.
