Abstract

When a motorcycle is parked and a side stand 19 is erected as the engine is driven, a shifter 16 is pulled through a Bowden cable 20 against a spring 17 to disengage claws 14 of a positive clutch 13 from claws 15 of the output gear 9. Thus, the rotation of the engine is not transmitted to a driven shaft 10 so that the motorcycle does not make a movement.
