Abstract

PURPOSE: To apply electric corrosion prevention easily and surely to the inside wall of an existing long pipe as well by force-feeding a pig into the pipe, disposing a guide rope into the pipe and further disposing an anode wire into the pipe by using this guide rope.
CONSTITUTION: A pig 3 is force-fed by force-feeding water into a pipe 1, to remove the scale 2 having stuck on the inside wall of the pipe thereby cleaning the pipe 1. After the completion of the cleaning of this pipe 1, a guide rope 4 is mounted to the pig 3, and the pig 3 is force-fed into the pipe 1 in the manner similar to the above, whereby the rope 4 is disposed into the pipe 1. Thence, an anode wire 5 including Zn, Al, Mg alloy, etc. is fixed to the rope 4, and while the rope 4 is being pulled out, the anode wire 5 is disposed in the pipe 1. Electric corrosion prevention is carried out by flowing corrosion-proof current of 80mA/m2 to this anode wire 5 in the case of the pipe 1 in which, for example, sea water is flowed, and that of 50mA/m2 in the case of the pipe 1 in which industrial water is flowed.
