Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide fail-safety and reduce the number of component parts to be used by a method wherein a control circuit for controlling a relay switch is fitted additionally with a relay switch which is opened by an abnormal signal generated in the control circuit.
CONSTITUTION: A combustor is composed of an ignitor 1 comprising an ignition transformer; an air feeder 2 comprising a fan motor; and a fuel feeder 3 comprising an oil feed pump. In the case where a temperature-sensitive element 28 is broken, a thyristor 56 is made conductive, a relay 19 is changed over to the cutoff state, relays 6, 7 are opened to stop combustors 1W3, and an alarm circuit 18 is operated simultaneously. In cases of misfire, i.e. in cases where ignition is failed, a flame detecting circuit comprising a CdS flame detecting element and a resistor 43 connected in parallel with the element operates to stop the combustors 1W3 similarly, and the alarm circuit 18 is actuated.
