Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to treat a incinerator gas effectively by deodorizing a chaff combustion gas by stirring and mixing said gas and water as well as separating and discharging polluted water produced thereby.
CONSTITUTION: The smoke gas discharged by operating the chaff incinerator is passed through a flue 7 and released into water in a hermetically sealed tank from a lower part of the washing and dust collecting apparatus 8. At the same time, by rotating a stirrer 22 by a stirrer driving apparatus 17 and stirring water in an inner tank 11, said smoke gas is forecedly sucked and mixed with water. Thereby, malodorant components in said smoke gas are oxidized or dissolved in water and said gas is discharged into atmosphere from an exhaust pipe 19 as stabilized, deodorized and purified air. On the other hand, ash in said smoke gas is wetted by water as well as, because the weight thereof is increased, precipitated by centrifugal force to a bottom part 13 of the hermetically sealed tank 9 through a gap between the inner tank 11 and said hermetically sealed tank 9 and taken out through a take-out pipe 14 from a liquid containing said ash at a high concn. succeedingly.
