Abstract

PURPOSE: An aqueous suspension of particles composed of a mono-olefin copolymer rubber and a polyolefin is impregnated with a crosslinking agent to produce the titled composition containing an accurate amount of undecomposed crosslinking agent dispersed homogeneously.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture of spherical particles composed of 100pts.wt. of mono- olefin copolymer rubber and 10W900pts of a polyolefin resin, preferably melt kneaded, is made into an aqueous suspension and impregnated with 0.1W40pts of a crosslinking agent. The resultant composition is, according to the content of crosslinking agent, directly or after the mono-olefin copolymer rubber and/or the polyolefin resin are additionally mixed to a adjust the content of the crosslinking agent to 0.1W10pts per 100pts of the mono-olefin copolymer rubber, kneaded with heat to produce the partially crosslinked product.
EFFECT: Since the crosslinking agent is not handled at high temperatures, the production is kept stably.
