Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a polyalkylene glycol-contg. polyester compsn. having excellent light resistance, by blending a specified substd. ethylene compd. to a modified polyester.
CONSTITUTION: A substd. ethylene compd. of formula I [wherein R1, R2 are H, alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl, alkylaryl; R3 is H, monovalent 1W7C hydrocarbon group; R is (m+n)valent org. group which may be substituted with hydroxyl, carboxyl, sulfonic group or alkyl; m, n are 0W2, m+n≥1] such as the compd. of formula II is used as a light-resisting agent. 0.05W20wt% of the above compd. is blended with a modified polyester contg. 0.5W80wt% of a polyalkylene glycol (or a derivative).
