Abstract

In this case, the flash light source 5 emits light when driven by a driving circuit 7, and this driving circuit 7 is controlled by a control circuit 6. The control circuit 6 is constituted of a microcomputer etc. and the timing at which the flash light source 5 is lighted is determined unequivocally by the width forming one image of the photoreceptor 1 and exposure intervals. The photoreceptor 1 is uniformly and continuously charged by a charger, and stops still in the exposure position, where the original is irradiated by the flash light source 5 and the light reflected therefrom is led through a lens 9.
