Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce a retroreflective sheet of wide angle characteristics by using paint having such adhesive strength that it expands or contracts and forms creaselike ruggedness when heated to dry. CONSTITUTION:Paint having such adhesive strength that is expands or contracts and forms creaselike reggedness when heated to dry is coated on a release sheet 2, thereby forming transparent base film 1. Before the film 1 dries, a multiplicity of transparent microballs 3, 3' are buried therein, thereby forming a retroreflective layer A. The film 1 is then heated to dry, thereby forming creaselike reggedness 4, 4' on the top surface. Thereafter, the paint similar to that of the film 1 is coated on A, and is heated to dry, so that a transparent focal film 6 having reggedness 7, 7' is formed. Finally, a reflection reinforcing device 8 is formed on the film 6 in a manner as to form the same shapes as those of 7, 7', and the sheet 2 is removed.
