PURPOSE:To obtain a very stable vertical synchronous state, by using the oscillation output of a vertical oscillator as a reference signal in the system where a signal for vertical deflection is obtained from a signal of the two-fold frequency of the horizontal frequency by frequency division. CONSTITUTION:The oscillation output of a vertical oscillator 10 synchronized with the vertical synchronizing signal is applied instead of the synchronizing signal integral output as the input which is applied to a pulse shaping circuit 7 for the purpose of discriminating a frequency and comparing the phase of the output of a 1/525 frequency divider 5 which divides the oscillation output of an oscillator 3 oscillating a two-fold frequency 2fH of the horizontal synchronizing signal. Consequently, a very stable vertical synchronous state is obtained. This circuit is easy to adjust, and undesired interference is not generated even if the circuit is made into an IC, and further, the circuit is strong against the distrubance noise.
