Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled coating material, consisting of Portland cement and short fibers in a specific resin primer, suitable to a primer for a cement structure, and capable of improving water resistance and moisture resistance and giving a sealing effect to the cement structure.
CONSTITUTION: A coating material prepared by incorporating (A) a one-pack type moisture curing urethane primer or epoxy resin primer with (B) Portland cement and short fibers, e.g. glass fibers. The resultant coating material is preferably in the form of a mastic for use as a multiple layer patterned spraying material having the characteristics of the main material.
USE: Protection and decoration of a cement structure, e.g. glass-fiber reinforced concrete, asbestos boards, etc. or a primer for waterproofing the rooftop made from urethane elastomers.
