Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the reliability of the operation at a plant, by installing a specific input signal process part, information analysis deciding part and output generating means respectively and then displaying the state of occurrence of a fault in accordance with the causal relation in order to ensure a macro-estimate. CONSTITUTION:A correction is given to the time point when fault signal groups x1-xn fetched out of a plant 1 are generated, and at the same time the error information is deleted by an input signal process part 2. In addition to this part 2, an information analysis deciding part 3 is provided to divide the output signals of the part 2 into the prescribed groups and also to analyze the causal relation among the groups x1-xn. Furthermore an output generating means is added to deliver the output of the part 3 for each group and after arraying these outputs in the order of the time when the fault is caused and at the same time to collate the output with the causal relation data which is previously stored to deliver the worst progress time. For instance, a sequence display process part 4, a worst case wave estimating part 6 and a data storage part 7 are provided to display the above-mentioned output at a display part 5.
