Abstract

PURPOSE: To enhance bonding strength when an urethane paint is top coated by a method wherein a polyolefin as an article to be painted is formed from a predetermined composition and subjected to surface treatment by a halogenated hydrocarbon solvent to form plural fine pores on a surface of said article to be painted.
CONSTITUTION: 99.5W50wt% Polyolefin (polyethylene, polypropylene) and 0.5W 50wt% olefinic high molecular compound having a polar group (ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer containing acetic acid, ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer containing acrylic acid) are kneaded and molded. Next, the resulting molded body is subjected to surface treatment by treating the same with a vapor of a halogenated hydrocarbon solvent (methylene chloride, carbon tetrachloride) or immersing in said solvent. Subsequently, an urethane type paint (a mixture of a polyol compound and an isocyanate type compound) is top coated.
