Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to heat water in a water tank and to supply the heated water as hot water by a method wherein the water tank accommodated in a heat insulating case is arranged in the space within the room leaving a ventilating layer therebetween and comparatively warm air in the space is circulated through the ventilating layer. CONSTITUTION:The hot water boiler which uses the atmospheric heat comprises the water tank 1 having a water supply port 3 and a hot water supply port 4 at the upper and the lower portions thereof, respectively, and is accommodated in the heat insulating case 2 leaving the ventilating layer S therebetween. So as to be arranged in the spcase 10 within the room. The ventilating layer S is made to communicate with the upper portion of the space 10 through a duct 5 provided with a check valve 7 and connected to the upper portion of the layer S and also made to communicate with the space 9 under the floor through a dust 6 provided with a check valve 8. With the above arrangement, when it is assumed that the temperature in the space 10 in the room is about 18-25 deg.C and the temperature of the water in the tank 1 is about 4- 6 deg.C, a downward stream of air would generate in the ventilating layer S due to the difference between the two temperatures so that the water in the tank 1 is heated and the heated water can be supplied as hot water.
