Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a micro chip coil in stable quality, by a method wherein an approximately S-shaped conductor is so formed on a magnetic material sheet that the both ends are respectively located at different end surfaces, and the sheet is wound up around a separate magnetic material wire core with terminal electrodes set on the both end surfaces thereof. CONSTITUTION:The approximately S-shaped conductor 7 is set on one surface of the magnetic material sheet 6 which is rich in flexibility, and the both ends of the conductor 7 is formed to locate at different end surfaces of the sheet 6. This conductor 7 is manufactured by methods such as printing or evaporation, while the sheet 6 is formed of a mixture with ceramic and binder to a sheet. The sheet 6 is wound up around the separate magnetic material wire core as the center with the conductor 7 inside from the starting point 8. After this windup, a laminated chip coil having connecting pieces 12, 13 on the both end surfaces thereof is obtained by burning with terminal electrodes 14, 15, provided on the both end surfaces.
