Abstract

PURPOSE: To sufficiently wind a coil around an iron core without an increase in the number of constituent parts in an electromagnet in which a magnetic pole surface and the iron core are arranged in parallel to each other and the magnetic pole surface is disposed externally of the coil wound around the iron core by forming a yoke with use of a flexible material to make the yoke flexible.
CONSTITUTION: A magnetic iron core 2 which is inserted into a coil bobbin 6 and allowed to pass through the same is formed with a flexible material such for example as unannealed electrical soft-iron, etc., together with a yoke 4 which forms a magnetic surface 3 directed in parallel to the iron core 2. A coil l is formed by outwardly folding the foldable yoke 4. This assures sufficient winding of the coil l without an increase in the number of constituent parts. Thereupon, the magnetic pole surface returns to the original position if folding force is removed after the completion of the winding.
