Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent the increase of serum cholesterol, by adding a mixed oil obtained by mixing a mixture of safflower oil and rice bran oil with nearly equal amount of tallow to a food, or by using the mixed oil for the cooking of a food.
CONSTITUTION: A rice bran oil containing 20W40% safflower oil is mixed with 130W70%, preferably equal amount of tallow (beef tallow, lard, sheep suet, etc.), and the mixed oil is used as an additive for sausage, minched meat, hamburger, etc., or an oil for frying pork cutlet, fry, etc. When the mixed oil is liquid at normal temperature, it is emulsified with lecithin, sugar ester, soybean protein, etc.
