PURPOSE:To simplify lamination structure and to secure insulation easily by using a substrate made of ferromagnetic materials divided by an insulating layer, by forming a magnetic resistance element across the insulating layer, and by covering the insulating layer. CONSTITUTION:A front lower core 8a and rear lower core 8b are butted and adhered together with an insulating layer 9 to obtain a substrate, and a magnetic resistance element 5 is stacked on the substrate 5 across the insulating layer 9 and then covered with an insulating layer 10a. An upper core 11 is made from the rear lower core 8b on insulating films 10a and 10b. A coil 12 for applying a bias magnetic field is wound around a lamination part where no bias conductor is provided.
