Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable a mixture gas jet velocity and pressure from a flame jet orifice held at constant value and to prevent backfire as well as to provide regulation of a combustion rate over a wide range, by maintaining an accumulated pressure of a mixture gas inside a gas chamber always at a fixed value.

CONSTITUTION: By pushing up a slide guide rod 22 by an appropriate means, a movable blast tube 11 of a blast cylinder 9 moves up in proportion to a volume of oil feed to narrow down an air blast opening 13. Thus, the blast quantity is diminished and at the same time, a volume-adjusting movable block 19 inside a gas chamber 3 moves up, too, providing a smaller effective capacity inside the gas chamber 3. Therefore, the pressure of a mixture gas inside the gas chamber 3 is kept at a fixed value even if a volume of a mixture gas is decreased. Also, a part of a jet flame surface on which flame jet orifices 4 are opened are blocked with a jet orifice shielding body 20, so that a mixture gas is jetted from opened jet orifices toward a combustion board 1 with a specified jet velocity and pressure to continue a normal vaporizing combustion in the combustion board 1.
