Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a painted film with an excellent adhering force by applying a paint on the inorganic hardening body finished with carbonation including calcium aluminate trisulphate hydrate.
CONSTITUTION: A hardening body of calcium aluminate trisulphate hydrate: TSH (3CaO.Al2O3.3CaSO4.nH2O, where n is 31 or 32) is carbonated in an atmosphere of carbon dioxide and a paint is applied thereon. The paint forms a painted film penetrating into holes on the surface and back of the hardening body. This enlarges the adhering area of the film enhancing the painted film adhering force with an anchoring effect.
