CONSTITUTION:Glass powder prepd. by contg. specific amts. of 1 or >=2 kinds of oxides of Mo, Nb, Sb, Zr in a vitrified material consisting essentially of SiO2, CaO, Na2O is coated in the stage of hot rolling after primary descaling. When the rolling material is rolled after this, the floating scale of the steel material after the rolling is completely prevented, and despite abuse working, the coated material does not peel; therefore, the hot final material having the secondary scale of extremely high adhesive strength is obtained.
