Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction in separation, by attenuating a high frequency component in 80-110kHz of a signal demodulated when an input electric field is decreased, in an FM radio receiver provided with a multipath reduction circuit. CONSTITUTION:A signal inputted to an intermediate frequency input terminal 1 is amplified at an amplifier 2, demodulated to an audio signal at a detection circuit 3 and to L and R channels at a stereo demodulating circuit 5 after pules noise is rejected at a rejection circuit 4. A DC voltage signal obtained from the amplifier 2 is inputted to a transistor (TR)20 via an inverting circuit 16, and when the input electric field strength is lowered, a filter circuit 15 is inserted between the detection circuit 3 and the rejection circuit 4 by driving the TR20. Thus, the high frequency component in 80-110kHz of a demodulation signal is by-passed and an audio demodulation signal attenuated with the high frequency component can be given to the rejection circuit 4.
