Abstract

PURPOSE:To emphasize high frequency region of a reproduced signal and to increase the articulation of a call, by transmitting an audio signal while inverting the frequency spectrum. CONSTITUTION:Frequency spectrum inverting circuits 9 and 10 are provided for a transmitter 1 and a receiver 5, and the transmitter 1 inverts the frequency spectrum of an audio signal from a microphone 2 and transmits it to a wire transmission circuit 4 via an amplifying circuit 3, and the frequency spectrum of a received signal at the receiver 5 is further inverted to restore the signal into the original signal. The loss at high frequencies can be increased in comparison with the transmitted frequency due to the effect of a line resistance and capacitance between lines. Thus, the high frequency region of a reproduced signal can be emphasized and the articulation of a call can be improved.
