Abstract
PURPOSE:To relieve the fatigue of eyes and to facilitate the confirmation of a subject and focus adjustment, by providing an eyepiece finder which has at least width equal to the distance between both the eyes. CONSTITUTION:In a housing 10, a mirror 11 and a half-mirror 12 are provided slantingly, and a both-eyes mechanism 16 provided with eyepieces 13 and 14 and an objective piece 15 is fitted on the rear surface of a single-lens reflex camera 16. The optical axis of a finder window 3 is aligned to that of the objective piece 15, and both eyes 2 and 2' are set at the eyepieces 14 and 13. An image of a subject and a split image which are viewed conventionally through the finder window 3 are viewed by the right eye 2 through the half-mirror 12, and also viewed by the left eye 2' while reflected by the half-mirror 12 and mirror 11, thus confirming the subject partially by both the eyes.
