Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a stereoscopic binocular microscope which can select the photo- graphing system to either one of the left and right coupling lenses, by making sure which one catches clearly a subject between the left and right image forming lenses. CONSTITUTION:A microscope 1 consists of an illumination system 2 and a photo- graphing system 16. The system 16 comprises a binocular observing barrel 17, a finder part 22 and a photographing conversion part 27. A photographing optical path switching mechanism 31 which can select the left eye optical axis L1 system or the right eye optical axis L2 system is provided at the back of the left and right image forming lenses 19 and 19'. Thus an observer of a subject 10 makes sure which image is caught more clearly between the left and right eyes and then selects the 1st mirror of the mechanism 31 at a left optical axis L1 or a right optical axis L2 to obtain an extremely good state for photographing.
