Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the energy consumption in the production of the titled molding material and to improve the operational environment, by adding saw dust, a filler, a colorant, a curing agent, etc., to an amino resin precondensate and then subjecting the mixture to mixing, milling, pelletization and drying.
CONSTITUTION: Saw dust, grain size 45W200 mesh, a filler (e.g., CaCO3), a colorant, a curing agent (e.g., hexamethylenetetramine), a release agent (e.g., zinc stearate), etc., are added to a liquid or solid amino resin precondensate (e.g., urea resin) prepared by reacting an amino compound with a formaldehyde in the presence of an alkaline catalyst. The resulting mixture is mixed, milled, pelletized and dried.
EFFECT: Dusting does not occur during the production and therefore the production process can be shortened.
USE: Wiring device, electric appliance, household articles, etc.
