Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain large volume air permeability and a stable emitting condition by piercing a fine pore or a tubular body having a predetermined diameter and cross area shape from a using surface to the rear part thereof to make an air passing direction constant.
CONSTITUTION: Plural piercing pores 4 having almost same fine pore size and a straight form are pierced through the refractory kneaded clay 1 in a mold frame from the using surface 2 to the rear part 3 thereof. The aforementioned piercing pore 4 has a diameter of 0.1W5mm and formed from a fine pore or a tubular body having a circular, an oval or a polygonal cross area. The above described gas blowing refractory material has a definite air passing direction and large volume air permeability is obtained therefrom under a stable condition.
