Meanwhile, a cassette recorder is provided with pawls 13 and 15 for discriminating the position of the hole 12, and a switch 14 or 16 is made conductive when the cassette case is loaded. A head inclination switching mechanism is operated by this conduction of the switch 14 or 16 to set the inclination of a head automatically.
