Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a compressor motor to be operated at a maximum efficiency for either a high- or low-load point, by providing motor winding circuits for the respective high- and low-load points, and changing over them to each other. CONSTITUTION:To motor operating terminals C, A and M, main coils R1-R3 are connected, together with an auxiliary coil S, which is connected between said terminals C and A, so that two different types of main coils can be formed by changing over the connections among motor winding circuit-changing over terminals a, b, c and d. In other words, if the terminals a and c, and b and d are connected respectively, a motor winding circuit for a high-load point can be formed, while if the terminals b and c (a and d are not used) are connected, a motor winding circuit for a low-load point can be formed. Accordingly, by using a motor winding circuit, through changeover, according to the output load point, a maximumly efficient operation can be performed for either a high- or low-load point.
