CONSTITUTION:The composition of the ferritic stainless steel welding material for highly anticorrosive structure is made as follows: <0.015C, <0.015N, <0.5 Si, <0.5Mn, 17-23Cr, 1-3Mo, 0.1-0.5Nb, <0.02Ti, 0.1-0.5wt% Al, the rest Fe. <2.5Ni may be added further. Characteristic of this welding material is to improve remarkably the joint function of the weld zone and workability by adding Al to the composition of 17-23% Mo, Cr in which C and N are restricted to >=0.015%, for use as a welding wire for gas shield arc welding of Mo-bearing ferrite group stainless steel.
