Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a stable combustion condition by an arrangement wherein a gas introduction port communicating with a gasifying device of wast tires is formed in the bottom of a combustion chamber and an air feed pipe is arranged in the middle of the introduction port with the tip end direction upwardly. CONSTITUTION:In the boiler utilizing waste tires in which a gasifying chamer (not shown) for gasifying waste tires is located at the base and the combustion chamber 4 and a water tank 3 are mounted thereabove, the port 8 for introducing the gas produced in the gasifying chamber is opened in the middle of the bottom of the combustion chamber and the air feed pipe 9 is located in the center of the port 8 with its air blowing opening 5 directed upwardly. In more detail, the air feed pipe 9 is located at such a position that its tip end substantially occupies the central part of a thick part which forms the bottom of the combustion chamber 4. Such a provision of the air blowing opening 5 in the center of the gas introduction port 8 enables a uniform mixture of gas and air and a smooth flow of the mixture into the combustion chamber 4, so that a stable combustion condition can be realized constantly.
