Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily form a fluorescent material layer with uniform thickness on the inner surface of a glass bulb, by supplying a definite amount of a fluorescent material from a weighing machine to the rapidly rotated dish like part of a powder diffusing disc to inject the same along with air from a nozzle.

CONSTITUTION: A definite amount of a fluorescent material 1a is delivered from a fluorescent material receiving container 1 having the fluorescent material 1a received therein through a weighing machine 6 as well as, in a powder dispersing vessel 11, a main body 12 having an air introducing port 3 and a fluorescent material discharge port 9 and a powder diffusing disc 16 having a dish like part 17 rapidly rotated in the main body 12 are provided so as to supply a definite amount of the fluorescent material 1a from the weighing machine 6 to the dish like part 17. In addition, an electrostatic powder coating nozzle 5 having a charging apparatus mounted therein and communicated with the fluorescent material discharge port 9 injects the fluorescent material 1a from the leading end thereof as well as an air send-in device sending air into said powder dispersing vessel is communicated with the air introducing port 3 of the powder dispersing vessel 11. As the result, a constant and uniform fluorescent material layer can be formed on the inner surface of a bulb 7 such as a fluorescent lamp or the like.
