Abstract

PURPOSE:To repetitively use a recording memeber, by using the recording member which can record and erase image information reciprocally with heating. CONSTITUTION:A thermal head for heating recorder 5 is selectively heated to a temperature for transparency of a recording member 1 according to image information. When the recording member 1 is heated, a platen roller 7 is immediately rotated and the recording member 1 is moved. A moved and heated part is cooled to be transparent and the image information is recorded on the surface of opaque part of the recording member 1 in dot shape corresponding to a heated head. Since a guide plate 11 is colored at a display section 6, the image information recorded as transparency is visually observed via a guide plate 10 as colored image information on the recording member 1 of opaque state.
