Abstract
PURPOSE:To prepare a plated steel plate with excellent surface smoothness and good corrosion resistance by a method wherein Ni, Co coating treatment is preliminarily applied to a surface of a steel strip and, thereafter, molten lead-tin alloy coating is carried out at a specific running speed. CONSTITUTION:Ni, Co or Ni-Co alloy coating treatment is applied to the surface of the steel strip, for example, by an electroplating process as undercoating treatment. Next, molten lead-tin alloy coating is carried out at a steel strip running speed of a range of 30-250m/sec. Said lead-tin alloy pref. contains 1-30% Sn. Subsequently, a coating amount of a coating layer is adjusted by a high pressure gas squeezing method.
