Abstract

PURPOSE:To control the estimate required for the number of copying papers by letting one possess a plastic card having an identificaton code for each user unit of a copying machine, by mounting this to the copying machine and by performing check of the identification code and a restriction of the number of copying papers. CONSTITUTION:An identification code number 2 different for each user unit group is recorded in a card 1 and by inserting this into a copying machine a user code is read in a card reader part 3 and is further checked by a code number checking circuit 7. Only when the code number and the recording code number of a memory 6 coincide, a signal 8 with which copying is enabled is outputted and the number of copies is given to the memory 6 in relation to a card code. Accordingly, a memory content is renewed at each copy, and when the number of sheets of copies coincided with a display of a display part 12 of the copying setting number of sheets, a copying stop signal 15 is outputted from a memory side and stop copying.
