Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve a measurement efficiency, by a method wherein a disc-shaped reaction disc, which holds a plurality of sample receptacles on their respective concentric circles, and turns intermittently, is installed. CONSTITUTION:Sample receptacles 2 engage a reaction disc 15 on 3 concentric circumferences. The sample receptacles 2 in each row are simultaneously located in a position 4 where a sample is ditributed respectively, the sample receptacles 2 in each row, which proceed further by 4 receptacles, are situated in a position 5 where a reagent is distribted to each receptacle, and the sample and the reagent are individually distributed. Three scattering photometers, placed at the lower part of each sample receptacle 2 located in the position 5, measure a blood coagulation condition. After distribution and measuring are completed, a rotary shaft 14 turns, and the following sample receptacles 2 are moved in a turning manner to the positions 4 and 5 for distributing the sample and the reagent and to measure the blood coagulation condition. A heat block 16 is separately mounted, and 3-row recesses, in which the sample receptacles 2 are housed, are formed in an arc of a circle in the heat block. The sample receptacles are heated to a specific temperature by a heater embedded in the heat block 16.
