Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent hydraulic fluid as well as oil from directly flowing out by providing a seal ring between the end of a rotor and the inside of a cylinder for a vane type drive unit.
CONSTITUTION: A ring-shaped concave member 15 is formed on the inside surface of a cylinder side plate 13 around the center of a rotor bearing bore 14 of a cylinder side plate 13. The radius of the ring is equivalent to the radius of a rotor. An inside surface 16a surrounded by the concave part 15 is formed in a lower position than an outside 16b. A plurality of pressure springs 17 made of compression coil are installed on the bottom of the ring-shaped concave part 15. A seal ring 18 is inserted into the ring-shaped concave part 15 and is supported with the pressure spring 17. At the same, an O ring 19 and an O ring 20 are respectively inserted into both outside and inside faces of the sealed ring 18, and sealed on the inside face of the ring-shaped concave part 15. A through hole 21 for lubrication is provided near a bearing hole 14.
