PURPOSE:To improve the protecting function of a receiver by providing a TR tube leakage power detecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:A PIN diode 12 characteristically forms a momentary short circuit when electric power exceeding permissible power is inputted and holds itself open when the high power is inputted continuously. By utilizing the characteristics, the state of the PIN diode 12 is detected by a voltage detecting circuit 14 since the PIN diode 12 short-circuit leakage power, i.e., the output of a TR tube 4 increases above some electric power value as the TR tube 4 deteriorates gradually, and then turns on immediately.
