Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the plane shape after finishing by performing roll bending in accordance with the forecast plane shape after finishing of a material to be rolled.
CONSTITUTION: on the way of broadside rolling, a rolling mill provided with a roll bending function is used, and convex crowns are given to a material 2 to be rolled by performing roll bending with work rolls 8, 8'.
