Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform long time recording with a limited memory quantity by performing sampling with high speed clocking at the point of the time when a phenomenon occurs and performing sampling with low speed clocking before or after the same. CONSTITUTION:When a trigger signal (the point of the time when a phenomenon occurs) is detected from the input signal from an input circuit 7 by a trigger detecting circuit 12, the input signal converted 8 from analog to digital is sampled by the high speed clocks from a delay circuit 13 conected to a frequency dividing circuit 10 and is written into a memory 1. When prescribed number of data is written, an FF3 is reset, and the writing is stopped by the output thereof. Before or after this, the sampling is accomplished by the low speed clocks from a delay circuit 14 connected to a frequency dividing circuit 11 and is written into the memory 1. In this way, the long time recording is accomplished with the limited memory quantity of the memory 1.
