Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify work and eliminate the disconnection and distortion of the connecting parts of union joints and tubes by thermally covering said connection parts at the time of connecting the tubes of a heat exchanger to themselves or the tubes to heat radiation fins by furnace brazing.
CONSTITUTION: A flat irregular shaped tube 2 made of Al is curved zigzag and this is inserted into union joints 3 made of an Al alloy and these are subjected to TIG welding or flux torch welding.
