Abstract

PURPOSE: To make an inclination of a printed letter unnoticeable, by adding a dot in advance to a letter to be printed to match the inclination of the letter.

CONSTITUTION: A letter pattern, consisting of a plurality of raws having the maximum of 13 pieces arranged vertically, is put into memory of a letter generator 15, and in this letter generator 15, reading is executed in turn from 1 on the first raw, and put into a buffer memory 16, at the same time, counting is done at a counter 17, and when 13 pulses are counted at this counter 17, signals corresponding to last 3 pulses are read out from the buffer memory 16, 3 pulses from a pulse generator 18 are put in before the first pulse 1, a pulse corresponding to a dot of A is put out, and a pattern A is added to the next of 11W13 on the first raw of patterns 1W13. Further, the counter 17 is cleared every time when 13 pulses are put in, and if a next input is not available when 11W13 on the final raw have been counted, a pulse corresponding to a dot of B is put out from the generator 18 after 11W13 on the final raw, and a pattern B is added to the next of 1W3 on the final raw.
