Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a low-temperature heat sensitivity and thermal responsiveness, by a method wherein, after a colorless dyestuffs and thermal melting material are molten by heat for mixing, the molten mixture is added in hot water for dispersion without curing, the dispersion liquid is then added into water, and the molten mixture is hardened and dispersed.
CONSTITUTION: After preferably 0.2W20pts.wt., based on 1pt.wt. colorless dyestuffs (example: triarylmethane dyes, fuloran dyes), of a thermal melting material (for which fatty acid, having a melting point of 60W130°C, is suitable) is molten by heat for mixing, the molten mixture is added for dispersion in 50W1,000pts.wt., based on preferably 100pts.wt. the mixture, of hot water, without hardening the molten mixture, and the dispersion so obtained is added in 50W100pts.wt., based on preferably 100pts.wt. the molten mixture particles, of water (which is suitably maintained at a temperature being 10°C or more lower than the freezing point of the molten mixture) to harden and disperse the molten mixture.
USE: Suitable for high-speed facsimiles.
