Abstract
PURPOSE: To permit easy throwaway and to prevent burning of a filter owing to entry of sparks of fire such as welding hume by forming the entire part of the filter used for cleaners and the like into a cassette type by the use of paper.
CONSTITUTION: The dust-laden air sucked by the suction effect of a dust sucking blower passes through the vent holes 18a of the inner cylinder 18 of a paper filter 11, and contacts with filter paper 19, by which dusts are filtered out. The filter paper 19 is bent to an approximately bellowslike shape to have a wider filter area and higher filtration efficiency. The inner cylinder 18 prevents the sparks of fire from directly contacting with the filter paper 19 in the case of collecting dusts contg. the sparks of fire thereby preventing the filter 11 from firing. The purified air past the filter paper 19 is sucked and exhausted through the vent holes 14 opened in a large number in an outer cylinder 13 by a dust suction blower. Louvering pieces 14a are projected on the inner surface of the cylinder 13 to provide clearances from the filter paper 19, thereby preventing the clogging of the vent holes 14 owing to spreading of the filter paper 19.
