Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the workability and to prevent the leakage of resin, by filling a blowing and hardening fluid in the space section formed between an outer magnetic shield case and a cathode ray tube body. CONSTITUTION:A cathode ray tube 1 where the mounting of a filter 7 is completed is placed on a zig 9 while directing the face of the filter 7 downwardly, then an outer magnetic shield case 4a is fitted over a projection 9a of the zig 9 to cover the cathode ray tube body 1. Then a blowing and hardening resin 10 is injected through an opening at the joint 4c of said shield case 4a to be filled in a space section 12. After said resin 10 is hardened, the cathode ray tube body 1 integrated with the casing 4a is taken out and the remaining space section 12 is filled with silicon resin 8. Consequently the winding work of a form tape is eleminated resulting in the improvement of the workability and the reliable prevention of resin.
