Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive material for the receptor of a printer having high photosensitivity to semiconductor laser beams and causing no environmental pollution by adding tetrathiafluvalene to a phthalocyanine pigment. CONSTITUTION:This material for a receptor contains a mixture prepared by adding tetrathiafluvalene to a phthalocyanine pigment as a principal component. For example, by mixing a phthalocyanine pigment such as copper phthalocyanine with tetrathiafluvalence represented by the formula and dispersing the mixture in a resin such as polyester, a layer 8 is formed on an electrically conductive support 3 to obtain a receptor P3 with improved contact between the phthalocyanine pigment and the electronically active compound and an increased carrier transferring rate. The receptor P3 has considerably increased photosensitivity to light in the near infrared region.
