Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent condensation and solidification of a toner on a sleeve, by attracting and removing the toner on the developing sleeve with an opposed type rotary roller made of a magnetic substance after development is completed, in a developing equipment which uses a one-component magnetic toner. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic toner is contained in a container 12 in a hopper 11, and the toner is supplied to a developing sleeve 13 through an outlet 12a. A magnet which has a main pole 14 and sub-poles 15 is installed in the developing sleeve 13. A magnetic substance roller 16 is installed opposing to one of the subpoles 15 and near the sleeve, and the roller 16 rotates along the direction shown by the arrow. A doctor blade 17a is formed at a toner guiding member 17. A blade 18 contacts with a circumferential part of the opposed roller 16 and a toner passage 21 is formed with this blade 18 and a diaphragm 19 to mix and introduce old and new toners. A filter 26 is installed, if necessary, to prevent mixing in of foreign matters into the developing equipment.
