Abstract
PURPOSE: The titled composition that contains 4,5-dichloro-1,2-dithiol-3-one and 5- pyrazolone as active ingredients, thus showing slime-controlling activity without any adverse effect on the products and materials to be applied, further causing no pollution, because of its no remaining toxicity.
CONSTITUTION: 4,5-Dichloro-1,2-dithiol-3-one and 5-pyrazolone of the formula (X is H, lower alkyl, halogen atom; Y is halogen atom) such as 4-chloro-3-methyl- 5-pyrazolone are used as active ingredients. When the compound of the formula is used in the free form, the weight ratio of the pyrazolone to the dithiol is preferably (4W15)/1 and, when in the acid salt form, the ratio is (5W20)/1.
