Abstract

PURPOSE: An agricultural and horticultural germicide and a plant blight control agent composition, capable of exhibiting a synergistic control effect on plant blights with very high safety, and comprising sodium hydrogencarbonate and a polyglycerol ester of a fatty acid as active constituents.
CONSTITUTION: An agricultural and horticultural germicide and plant blight control agent composition comprising (A) sodium hydrogencarbonate and (B) a polyglycerol ester of a fatty acid expressed by the formula [at least one of R1, R2 and R3 is a fatty acid, others are H; n is an integer 2 or more, preferably 2W10] as active constituents at a weight ratio between (A) and (B) of preferably 8:2W2:8. The composition if free from the danger of handling, residual toxicity to crops and environmental pollution. The combination of the active constituents improves the application effect of a readily prepared wettable powder having improved spreadability remarkably and provides a synergistic remarkable lasting control effect on various plant blights.
