Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the atomization characteristic of jetted fuel at an injection valve by opening a fuel injection port on the wall area between two throttle chambers installed in parallel in an intake air passage.
CONSTITUTION: The first throttle chamber 6 equipped with the first throttle valve 8 and the second throttle chamber 7 equipped with the second throttle valve 9 are formed in an intake pipe 4. The fuel injection port 15 opened towards the downstream side of the intake pipe 4 is formed on the wall area between both chambers 6 and 7. A fuel control valve 14 and an auxiliary air control valve 13 are arranged oppositely in the fuel introducing passage 10 which communicates to the injection port 15, and determines each amount of jetted fuel and air.
